As you may know I believe that it is acceptable to live alone. Be independent become successful. Success to one is not the same as it is to another.

Let's define success to your standards. The dictionary defines success as:

I personally try to be as positive as I can in life although I want you to know this doesn't make me free from sadness, tears and emotions.

I have always thought of myself as a tiny home. Why? In my youth I only weight between 98-105 that was until my first pregnancy. After that I stabilize at a hundred and twenty pounds.
I believe that we as woman are compared to our homes a lot. If you judge us by our size, which let's face it, we get judged by others for many things. If we think it doesn't happen then we are in denial. Then we have two ways to react positive or negative.

I choose to try my best to be positive. If I am a tiny home then not all things fit. Not all things are appropriate. What is it then that we need.

Exercise:

Take a moment and write your definitions to these words. Then how you have experienced them in your life.

Success:
1. If one defines it by accomplishments then take a moment and write a list of your accomplishments.
2. If it is defined by purpose, then write down what is your purpose. Do you understand where I am leading you?
3. Favorable
4. Successfulness
5. Successful result
6. Triumph
7. Hollywood Ending, the success of the scheme

Cinco de Mayo

Hi there, Readers:

To be a single woman in today's world is understanding the difference in the roles we play in not only each others lives, also in the lives of our family and friends. How many of you are like I am who after many years of marriage life change and you found yourself having, being forced into situations you don't want to be in but are force to deal with it anyway. Positive action begot positive action.

Maybe, it's because of the
       Loss of  child
             Divorce
                 Aging parents
                    An ex who is under the assumption        that after years of saying No you are
                           suddenly interested.

Here is my new philosophy if there is the slightest possible joy in the world I am going to enjoy it. Even if it is by myself. My aging parents do not understand the reality of themselves aging and the impact it had on my life when forced to have to be raise a family drive two hours take care of them drive back two hours and run my own life with my family. Their own fight to survive and friend who understood that and for this I will always be grateful.

What is Cinco De Mayo about? We use it as a holiday to eat! I'm with you if you think it's a holiday to eat, eat. If you think it has meaning to you as a America citizen then learn more about the subject and do what is Wright for yourself.

Man Bags Part 2

What is the most difficult thing you have done since my last blog?

I thought so. It is difficult in deciding between function and looks. What is good looking isn't always functional. What is functional isn't always good looking!

Here are a few more man bags that are both. I hope this helps you in your Father's Day shopping list. I know I have my preference for the men I shop for. These run in the price rage of just over $150 to $300.00. The store I was shopping at was Nordstrom

These briefcases I discovered are almost like a backpack they Haverhill the same compartments. You can carry your computer and other nessisities . While looking sharp and professional. It does have a strap you can cross body. Please do not confuse these with a message bag. The men messenger bags are a little smaller in size. The above photograph is of briefcases.

Herschal bags seem to be the big thing right now. They are all the latest has in a verity of colors, sizes and fabrics. I don't think this Brad comes in leather although I might be mistaken. One of the things I liked about this backpack is its options for pockets. It has a variety of uses. Some are available for transporting your computer while other  do not have that option. I'm not sure if one could fit the Mac drone in one of these I do know it's a smart look for one.

I also liked how the have the security look to them. I think I would have appreciated if the Man Bags had a security Pocket for the wallet. Also a pocket for your smart phone that you could access without having to open the main part where you hold all the information. I think it is important for Men not to put their smart phone in their pockets. Mainly due to the risk factors studies have shown smart phones have on men.

This concludes my blog for man bags. What I did discover is before shopping for one, you need to know what exactly the man's needs are. What he will be using it for and most of all his style.

Man Bag for Father's Day!

First I have to say this might offend some of you and you might me thinking I don't use a man bag. I thought the same thing when I began doing research. I thought to myself; "Man bag? Men carry briefcases to work." I began doing research on what a man bag is considered. I looked up the definition and although it varies, some I can't post, I will for the purpose of this blog post call it a fabric or leather displaying a brand. That's kind of true. Man bags have come a long way. It is now considered any type of associates in which one puts content into. Such as a wallet, briefcases, backpack, card case.

For centuries men have carried a briefcase to work. Now it is acceptable for them to have several options. In this search to find out the difference between the classes, yes classes still exíst that's why there are different price points. If this offends you let me say I didn't create them. I'm just reporting them. Ask a dog. Is one dog the same as another? No! One man bag is not the same as another.

 The bags price points is between one hundred and three hundred dollars. Are you a fabric person or leather?

 These too leather bags have plenty of room for your laptop and other paperwork you might have to carry.

You have to check closely some just have an uncovered Pocket in the back some zippered it's a personal preference. Can be purchased at Macy's.

My favorite of all the designer man bags I looked at. They have been around making man bags since 1917! The leather is beautiful and ages gracefully.

They have this new white and black plus, two types of leather used. One is a textured leather the other is smooth like the one in the photograph. I think part of their success is they have their own store. Which makes the exclusive and coveted. Pricing begins at $300 plus. It's with it! Just the soft feel of the leather in your hands makes you feel as important as the person you are. Sold only at Coach stores!

Business Physical Is It Time.for a Check Up?

Meeting Security Heats Up

If you are a meeting an event planner thank you for following or reading my blog. If your just enjoying my post also thank you. This one may or may not apply to you. This blog is for those of us in the industry.

If you remember back to the September 11, 2001 and everything that happened. Security was a big issue. I just read an article in Smart Meeting that Meeting Security is Heating Up. It's that time for our industry to make sure our security measures are in place. The article goes into greater detail and weeks industry professions have to make sure we know what we are doing.

1. Check what is written in your mission statement and business plan about security. Is it still in place? If not make sure it's back in place.

2. First Aide Make all those responsible for public safety to have taken classes. Make sure the first Aide kit is in place with appropriate supplies in case of emergency. This is different than a disaster kit. Make sure that is up to date and not expired.

3. Each business is suppose to have a plan in place against terrorism. Is yours in place?

4. Make sure you know the difference between Safety verses Security.

5. If you don't know what is right for your business call a.) Fire Department b.) Police Department for a volunteery inspection. It's better that you call then be fined or someone get hurt and your businesses is out of compliance. There is also c.) You can hire a professional consultany to do both. Just make sure they have the proper credentials.

6. Make sure you follow through on any recommendations they might have for you.

If it's back in the news for meting and Event planners, it's back to being important for your business.

Travel Safety

Hi there, Reader;

I often find that I am out of town in one assignment or another. Therefore, here are some danger stranger trips when traveling alone.

For this blog I was at a Starbucks. No one likes to sit at a hotel all alone. The advice came from travel experts interviewed.

1.  Make sure your safe by:
      a.  Know your travel routes.
      b.  Know what you will be doing and where you are going and if possible let those at home know your itenary.

2. In this case I had my blogging camera on and was sitting in a high traffic area close to the bathroom. Don't use public bathrooms except when absolutely a nessisity.

3. Now her is one that is a little perplexing. Travel with a small dog if possible. It was recommended by the airlines, however it is discouraged by hotels. The dog barks when your possibly in danger. However, it is a lot of work when traveling and honestly I'm not sure if recommend it.

4. More and more people are Skpe, live chat or call someone while they travel from one place to another. Even if it's. I'm leaving the hotel and visiting ?.  Does this work? what I can say is it creates a record of your actions should something happen.

Rate Change

You know I believe in our truth as business. Due to the full disclosure I have to pass my cost of doing business onto the consumers. Yea, it is unfortunate however true. The following changes apply affective March 17, 2017.

All foreign countries toll calls will be charged at rate $3.00 a minute. What this means if you want to call MK Pure Diamond Events and vent about your new mother in law, or your bad marriage for 20 minutes the cost would be a cost of $60.00. If I where to make a profit on this I would have to change you more.  Text messages will be at a rate of .50 per minute. No worries however in an however, if your text message is filled with a hundred words than the cost of doing business in that text is $50.00 for example.  I might get picture messages will cost $1.30 per picture, photograph or video. and you send me 10 photographs, 15 pictures and one video I will be changing you per frame that I have to review.  Data is a little higher than most at a rate of $2.05 for information. Anyone seeking information will be charged at a rate of $2.05 for each information I have to relay, the cost of this is approximately $110.00.

I understand this is a little difficult for you that I can no longer give you a bid for you meeting, event, wedding for free. I tried telling you that all things must STOP, however others insisted on their way, therefore I must pass on the cost of doing business to my customers and clients.  I regret and sorrow that this has happened however, you know I must take responsibility for my business as you must for your decisions.

I like, you am in the business of doing what is right for my business and therefore you must understand I am saddened by this change in the ways we must communicate. Therefore, I will leave emails free for now.  I am sure as a consumer of MK Pure Diamond Events Meeting and Event Planning services or Maria Kamon (c)TM Photography you understand the responsibility of doing business and how not only I have to pass the debt to consumers, so does big business.
